The Bellagio tournaments start on April 7th which works out perfectly for me to see Brand New three nights in a row.

They played in LA last night, and are playing again tonight, and then they are playing in Las Vegas tomorrow. Naturally, I got tickets to all three nights. This isn’t anything that unusual for me. My record is seeing a band three times in two nights (Live, back when they still used to be good).

The show last night was amazing. Even the opening band was possibly the best opening act I had ever seen (not including concerts that I went to specifically for the opening act).

But anyway, I mostly wanted to talk about how awesome Brand New is. If you aren’t familiar with them, they are extremely emo. Yeah, I know, all the cool kids say only losers listen to emo. If you are one of those people, then screw you. Go back to your sky blue colored ipod mini and listen to your Fergie on infinite repeat.

For those of you that actually have good taste in music, listen to Brand New at www.myspace.com/Brandnew. The lead singer Jesse Lacey puts so much emotion into every song. I think that’s what makes them so amazing in concert.
