Overdue Update

Ok, so I know there has been a severe lack of updates over the past few months. I’ve been trying to stay low key. I’m playing lots of poker again, and doing well, but I want to keep the name I use and the site I play on anonymous for now. I seem to make more money when people don’t know my identity.

The Big Day (TBD) is in 2 and a half months. That’s when I FINALLY turn twenty one. I seriously feel like I’ve been waiting fifty two years just to turn twenty one. I’ll prolly spend a week in Vegas during the WSOP Main Event (even though I can’t / won’t play since it’s before my birthday), but other than that, I won’t be going to any tournaments until TBD.

So my birthday will take place in Aruba again which is cool. After that I’m gonna instantly go into full swing. Here’s the schedule of events I’m looking at for this year:

2006 Ultimate Poker Classic
Tournament – Aruba (WPT)

Sept 23rd – Oct 1st

ME: 26th-30th $5.2k Buyin

2006 FIFTH ANNUAL FESTA AL LAGO
CLASSIC – Bellagio (WPT)

Oct 2nd – Oct 19th

all events at least $1500 buyin w/ single rebuy

ME: 15th-19th $10k buyin

NPA Seneca Niagrara Open – Niagara Falls (NPA)

Oct 9th – Oct 21st : very little info on this

2006 WPT Canadian Poker Open -
Niagara Falls (WPT)

oct 22-24

North American Poker Championship
oct 25-29 Me: $10k

World Poker Finals – Foxwoods (WPT)
Me: nov 12th – nov 16th $10k buyin

Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker
Classic – Bellagio (WPT)

ME: Dec 14th-19th $15k buyin

Needless to say, I’m very excited.

Even forgetting poker, I’ve been really busy. I’ve been to four concerts already this month (Counting Crows, Brand new, Pearl Jam x2), and there are still two more to go (Muse x 2). Two friends of mine, Lydia and Sean were in town from the East Coast. They were kind of like my concert buddies back home, so I went to those shows with them. Then my step sister is coming into town and is gonna chill here for a week. LA is such an awesome city that everyone wants to visit and most of them wish they could just pack up and move here.
I haven’ been home in since January, so I’m planning a trip home mid-August. I really miss my friends back home, so it should be a great trip.

So all-in all, everything is great. I’ll try to do a couple of updates the next two months, and I’ll really pick up again when I start traveling to tournaments.
