Reinstated On PokerStars!

I want to take this opportunity to comment on the media and forum posts that have surfaced today, in regards to my reinstatement on PokerStars. For those of you that don't know, I was banned for multi-accounting tournaments on Stars in February 2006. Over time, through reflection and maturation, I feel that I have shown that these actions are mistakes of the past, and do not characterize me as a person. Since then, I have acted as ethically and honestly as possible. For what I can imagine was a very hard decision, I would like to thank Stars for giving me ...

AIM Hacked!

My AIM screen name has been hacked. If you have me on your buddy list, please block me immediately. It has been asking for moneygram transfers. Obviously, do NOT send money or sensitive information. I will most likely never use that screen name again. And more info on the "Big News" coming soon :D -Justin Bonomo

Dream Team Poker Round 2 and some Quick Updates

I'm on Mega Tilt. Just wrote my first blog in two months and hit submit. I got some browser error, and when I hit the back button, it wasn't there anymore. Ironically that was the first blog in... ever?... that I didn't use Microsoft Word to write before pasting into the browser =( The idea was that the task of writing a full blog into word detailing everything poker related that I've done was too daunting, especially given I had to cover two months of stuff. Proofreading is also annoying. I'm gonna try to start writing quick blogs about one or two ...

Big Update Pt 2 – Multi Tabling Live Poker in the Bahamas

I look forward to the PCA every year. The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas is the perfect spot to getaway from the cold of winter. Some of my fondest memories are from the PCA. I first played it five years ago when I was 19. It was my 2nd WPT ever and I managed to cash in it (30th). On the bubble I had a table full of internet phenoms. We all told each other our online names and had some good chats. There was one 18 year old kid at the table who wouldn’t give his online name. He claimed ...

Big Update Pt. 1 Bellagio 5 Diamond

Ok… so it’s been a while since I’ve blogged… The 5 Diamond in December was frustrating to say the least. In the three tournaments leading up to the main event, I busted out of the first two with KK all-in pre vs smaller pairs, and then the 3rd I busted with AA vs a flopped set. That hand was particularly frustrating because I could have folded to his flop check raise, but since I called the flop and none of his possible draws got there on the turn, I was basically forced to call his all-in on the turn. My table draw ...

Team Bluff Wins Dream Team Poker!

I got invited my Bluff Magazine (Eric Morris and Matt Parvis in particular) to play a team celebrity tournament at the Hard Rock. It was a lot of fun. It had 27 teams in total including a bunch of celebrities like Mekhi Pfifer, Sam Simon, and a bunch of Hollywood regulars like the guy behind Baywatch, etc. I’m actually terrible about recognizing celebrities because I really don’t care that much. Only about 20% of the prize pool went to individual prizes, so my team agreed to play a strategy that would be good for the team prize. The way it worked was ...

Festa, BPO, Foo Fighters, etc.

So the plan was to fly from Borgata to go play the WSOP, EPT, and High Rollers events in London, but I decided that I really didn’t want to be away from home for a month. I also discovered that the EPT overlaps with early Festa events, and I really wanted to be in Vegas for that. I’ve been really busy the last week or so. I went to a Foo Fighters concert that was pretty good (3rd time I’ve seen them). My birthday was on September 30th, so 8 of us went to my favorite restaurant Nobu. I ordered for ...
