Sorry for the lack of updates, but there hasn’t been too much to report. I’ve mostly been playing 10/20 NL on Party lately (and a LOT of it). I’m trying to keep my identity there secret for as long as I can, so I don’t want to say too much. I’ve been winning, but not at a rate I’m happy with. I think I’m running pretty badly, but it’s hard to say. I’ll have to get used to the pace of this game.

MrSmokey1 ran a private tourney the other day on Stars. It was a $500+30 buyin and 27 people showed up. It was a pretty sick lineup and was full of great tournament pros.

During 15/30 blinds, utg limped, and I limped utg+1 w/ KK. I knew a lot of the players at the table were aggressive, and I thought there was a very good chance someone would get a raise in. There were like 18 more limpers behind me, and then Premier went all-in for 1k in the small blind. I instantly called with my kings, but his tens spiked a set on me, so I was at 500 chips pretty early on.

Somehow I managed to come back and win the whole thing. It only paid 6 or 7k, but it felt great to win it anyway. The lineup was very tough, and I was in between a rock and a hard place when my stack was crippled so early.

I wasn’t able to make much progress with Steve Da Pimp unfortunately. The thread was deleted on 2+2 because someone objected to having their personal information posted. I can’t really blame him, but it’s annoying to think that all that work was for nothing. I don’t really have the time to pursue matters much further, and no one else seemed to be willing to put in any effort. If the consensus is that people don’t care enough to do anything about this guy, I’m not going to waste my time. I do appreciate the few people that shared info trying to help, and I’m sorry that it was all for nothing.

I guess that’s it. I just wanted to give a quick update since I haven’t posted anything in a while.
