The last time I took some time off from high stakes SNGs and tournaments was to play 1,000 200 15 sit’n'gos. That turned out pretty well. I made around 30k over those 1,000 SNGS. The day after I finished the quest, however, I returned to the ring and had an amazing day. I made 37k in a single day from higher sit’n'gos ranging from 400′s all the way to 5k buyins. Somehow, I managed to complete a long, tough, goal (the 1,000 sngs), and then I shattered that accomplishment the very day after I finished.

This time around, I took some time off just because I needed… well, time off. Last Sunday I came back, and things started off hot. I ended up making around 40k that week. Again, it was mostly from higher sit’n'gos. Party replaced the 5k step highers with 2k’s, but I’m crushing those just like I crushed the 5k’s.

I’m trying to keep my identity hidden on Party these days (although you will still see ZeeJustin in an occassional tourney), so if you want to watch me play, it pretty much has to be on Stars. Just search for me. I usually play from 6pm pst til around midnight.

Right now I’m back home for Thanksgiving. I’ll be here until next Monday. It always feels good to come back home. I certainly don’t regret moving to LA, but there’s a lot to miss when you leave the place where you spent your entire life. It’s great to see family again, and hopefully later this week I’ll be able to catch up with my high school friends.
